Winter - Frost Guard/Winter Percussion
What is Frost Guard?
Frost Guard is our winter program for the Color Guard team. We practice entirely indoors and design the production solely for the guard. Winter Guard or Indoor Color Guard is widely known as a "Sport of the Arts" because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format. The activity is based on dance, acting, and manipulating equipment such as flags, prop rifles, and/or sabres.
Frost Guard is a varsity level competitive sport that requires full commitment and participation. The season runs from the end of November through the end of March. This is a no-cut sport, and there is no experience required for membership; every season we teach each participant all the necessary skills they need to be successful. Placements in Frost Guard will be made by the recommendation of the coaches and consideration of any experience & talent held by each prospective member.
