Sisters in STEM

Sisters in STEM offers support to students starting in middle school and then continuing all the way through high school. We are dedicated to creating a community for girls where they feel included, welcome, and supported in the STEM world. So, whether you’ve previously expressed interest in STEM, want to learn more about what STEM has to offer, want to be surrounded by a group of like-minded students, or a combination thereof, we can say with confidence that SiS is the place for you, and we highly encourage you to join us! And although it may seem like our organization is best suited for those who have had experiences with STEM in the past, we welcome students of all interests to participate in our sessions just to get a sense of how STEM can be applied to virtually every field. 

Our club is very active and meets twice a month. We do lots of fun activities, often have guest speakers, and we provide tons of support to our members when it comes to taking STEM classes here at CV, preparing for post-high school scholarship opportunities, and completing college applications. We also work with students at the local middle schools and participate in events throughout the community.
