Survey About Student Cell Phone Use

Student use of cell phones during the school day has an impact on both student learning and wellbeing. As part of our strategic plan initiatives, CVSD is working to develop consistent guidelines for student cell phone use during the school day in order to support a positive and productive learning environment.

Input about students’ cell phone use in our schools is valuable. All parents, staff and secondary students (grades 6-12) received a survey to complete in order to gauge their perspective

The cell phone survey is completely ANONYMOUS.

The only reason that there is a need to sign in to fill it out the survey is solely so that it is filled out just once by each individual. Filling it out only once allows us to better distinguish the viewpoints of our parents, rather than allowing the data to potentially be skewed if the same person filled it out multiple times.

Note: In an effort to continue to gain parent, staff and student perspective, we will send surveys on strategic initiatives in the new year.
