Winter - Gymnastics

Gymnastics is a serious athletic endeavor that builds strength, flexibility, endurance and character. Gymnasts can be an all around competitor or an individual event specialist.  Girls who are creative, can dance, can tumble and want to develop the above attributes may try out.

CV Gymnastics has been at the top of the league for 23 years and adheres to winter sport season rules and guidelines.  The season begins in November and ends with the State meet in February.  The season consists of daily (Monday through Saturday) practices and 8 league meets starting in December.  Gymnasts can qualify for the state tournament as an individual or as a team member.  The group does one big fundraising weekend.

Gymnastics is a cut sport fielding varsity and junior varsity teams.  The junior varsity competes at the same time as the varsity on the same apparatus.
