If you have ever been in, or are interested in, classes such as Child Development, Teaching Academy, Sewing/Fabrics & Apparel, Food/Finance/Family, Single Survival, or Lifetime Personal Wellness, then this club is for you! FCCLA is a national student organization where members choose competitive events in areas of their own interest and can work toward regional, state, and national award levels. We will also do fun community service and club activities...this will look GREAT on your resume for scholarships and future employers!! FCCLA is supported primarily by state and national membership dues of $20.00. There are additional costs for travel to state and national competitions. Meetings will rotate between morning, afternoon, and evening so all students have an opportunity to participate. Students will receive Teen Times (the official magazine of FCCLA) quarterly during the school year.
There are State and National dues each year. There are additional costs for qualifiers to state and national competitions. There is fund raising to help cover travel expenses. An ASB Card and signed Pride-Honor code are required.
