Welcome Central Valley High School Families,
I hope you all have had a wonderful summer filled with family, friends and relaxation. On behalf of the staff of CVHS, I want to share how excited we are to begin the new school year! We look forward to reconnecting with our returning students, meeting our freshman and new student’s grades 10th through 12th, as well as get to know our new staff. A new school year always brings energy, excitement and enthusiasm. It is also a great time to set goals. As I approach my second year as building principal, I will continue to work diligently with our staff and community to strengthen current programs and create additional opportunities for students to feel empowered to pursue their dreams post high school.
This fall we are excited to implement our new daily schedule, which provides more classroom instructional time and continues to offer personalization through access and advisory. Central Valley High School offers a multitude of activities and athletic programs and we encourage all of our students to get involved in some-thing that interests them.
I am also very excited about the school–community partnership we have formed with Central Valley Bear Booster Club (CVBBC) under the leadership of Scott Gabbert. We have accomplished a great deal in a short amount of time in service of our students. Please consider joining the CVBBC; it is a great way to stay connected and get involved at the high school level.
Please enjoy the remainder of your summer and feel free to call if you have any questions. We are here to serve you.
